Raith Rovers Beer Festival – Stramash 2010

The Raith Trust will be holding a Real Ale Festival at Starks Park on April 2nd and 3rd 2010. A range of real ales and ciders, carefully selected by Jim Brande of the Fyfe Brewing Company, will be on sale on the Friday evening and during the afternoon and evening on Saturday, along with a selection of bottled beers, wine and soft drinks. All proceeds will go towards increasing the supporters’ shareholding in Raith Rovers FC.

Included in the entrance fee of £5 will be a commemorative beer glass and a festival programme with tasting notes for all of the ales and ciders on tap.

The event will run from 6pm – 11pm on Friday 2nd and from 1pm – 11pm on Saturday 3rd. There will be musical entertainment, and more importantly match updates from Inverness!

We hope that a successful weekend will make the Raith Real Ale Festival a fixture on the calendar for all real ale lovers in Fife, and that we will be able to convert a few real ale novices to the cause of “proper beer”!
