Trust Fans Survey
A proposal was produced by SL and we agreed it was very good and hugely worthwhile and we fully supported it. It will be good to make an analysis between the data from the first fans survey and the data from this forthcoming second survey. TP proposed we carry this out and this was agreed by everyone.
Fans Group Fund Raising
Rock the Rovers 5 – Unsure how successful this event was or the funds raised however, those who did attend mentioned it was busy.
Official Website events banner – Alan Traynor and Jim Foy have produced a banner for all the fans events on the official website.
Trust Calendar
Discussed the possibilities of producing a calendar that will have all the key events, AGMs, trust meetings, etc. which will be attached to future Trust meetings agendas and appear on the Trust website. Action Point: AR to produce calendar.
Trust Fund Raising
Walk to East End Park 29 August: AR reported there were seven fans started including AR and joined by another fan and later by JM. The final total raised is still to be calculated however, it will be less than the first walk to Methil.
Beer Festival: License legislation has recently changed and the festival is now planned for 31 October in the Southstand concourse. Action Point: TP to organise the licence and the payment.
Trust Away Day
AR discussed the vacant Media & Communications post with SL and he will formally take up the post.
BW wanted clarification regarding the competition to win the Starks Park image (donated by SL) that all members of the Trust would be entered into it and this was agreed.
AOCB
AR mentioned that a new member had shown interest in being involved with the Trust and becoming a board member. Action Point: AR to discuss the possibility with the member.
JP reported there will be a discussion and debate regarding the SFA’s Review of Scottish Football led by Henry McLeish. This was discussed and we will consider contributing our own findings with this new “think tank”. A debate will be held at the University of Stirling on 28 September 2009.
