Supporter ownership taken to the extreme…
I’m not sure if the idea of “every major decision, on and off the pitch, being put to a members’ vote” is going to work in practice, but MyFootballClub will certainly raise the profile of supporter ownership if it is successful. My big worry (other than the possibility that this might be a scam) is what will happen if it is a damp squib – it could potentially discredit the hard work of everyone involved in other forms of supporter ownership like ourselves.
The best of luck to the people behind this, and to the 50,000 people who have committed to putting their hands in their pockets without knowing which club they’re going to end up owning!
