Supporters Trust cash injection boosts Raith
The Raith Supporters Trust has given Raith Rovers Football Club a major boost at the start of the season by injecting £5,000 into the club. The money arrived as they prepared for the season ahead in the First Division and means that the Raith Supporters Trust has now invested £10,000 into the club in the last twelve months.
Chairman Alan Russell said “This is part of our ongoing programme of investment in the club and shows the contribution that supporters can make. The current financial climate is a challenge for all football clubs and we are delighted to be able to help Raith Rovers at a critical time. Football clubs survive because of the support of fans and it is great that Rovers fans who want to have a greater say in the running of their football club are making a real difference”
